Accomplishments: 

• Played a key role in designing a Mobile Application and Website to control access from the main gate by issuing a security QR code to have detailed reports of all access's.
• Proffered direction, leadership, and oversight for calculating electric loads, preparation of drawings/diagrams, calibrating instruments, designing new systems, generate and saving data to raise efficiency, speed, and performance of companies’ operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Championing the instrument cable selection and design and developing equipment strategies/maintenance plans for instrumentations and control systems taking into consideration safety norms, industry standards, regulatory requirement and manufacturer recommendations.
• Troubleshooting problems & provided complex technical solutions, supervised day-to-day activities of the department to ensure effective work control, and productivity are maintained while fostering increased productivity & reduced costs.
• Managing an array of activities involving supervision and troubleshooting of  
  • Fully automatic incinerator for both Solid & Liquide hazardous waste
  • Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS)
  • Fully automatic Oxidation system for the spent caustic waste.
  • Half automatic stabilization system for the fly-ash waste.
• Ensuring that the day-to-day activities are carried out in a safe and healthy manner and that the impact of such activities on the environment is within acceptable limits.
• Providing vital inputs in preparing electrical load lists and power calculations, short-circuit calculations, earthing/grounding design calculations, etc.
• Preparing a variety of drawings spanning -cable routing drawings, duct bank designs, single line diagrams, layout drawings, instrument loop drawings, and electrical cable block diagrams as well as cause/effect diagrams.
• Compiling Input / Output lists, Alarm lists, panel board schedules, junction box schedules and wiring drawings, equipment data sheets (motors, instruments, etc.), instrument and motor hook-up drawings/details, etc.
• Validating and analyzing bill of quantities take-off from approved drawings, modifying the instruments and electrical drawings in addition to and simulating the mechanical parts (Flow, Pressure, and Temperature). 
• Providing technical support for reviewing technical proposals from vendors, monitoring installation on-site, system updates for speeding up the evaporation bonds process, and design updates for Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
• Commissioning and maintaining SCADA systems and troubleshooting failures: including network, hardware, data, and communications.
• Proficiently working on SCADA system from Siemens model S7 300, linking the HMI to CPU via ProfNet, connecting the input/output interfaces DI, DO, AI & AO, and joining the Sensors/Actuators.
• Responsible for maintaining and calibrating sensors such as Ultrasonic level, RTD-Thermocouple temperature, pressure, flow, O2, weight, limit-switch, voltage, and current.
• Maintaining actuators such as Motors (VSD inverters, Servo, Stepper, DC, AC single and 3 phases), pumps, lights, alarms, pneumatic-motorized-solenoid valves, ON/OFF solenoid valves, Pulsing valves, burners (controller, flame sensor, ignitors), and Schneider intelligent timers, etc.
• Maintaining and calibrating lab instruments such as Calorimeter, and maintaining stacks testing system CEMS room Brand Thermo Scientific model 60i & 51i, also dust monitoring system Brand LazerDust monitor and link data with main SCADA system
• Operating and maintaining 400 KW generators (Cummins). Installing CCTV system wire & wireless including the solar system, deploying cables, Networks (Ethernet, HART, and Profibus), and new systems as needed (EPlan Electric P8, Electrical, Solid works, SketchUp, Siemens WINCC, Schneider soft2 & Arduino).
• Providing leadership and direction in organizing instrument lists, tags, and specifications, eliminating damaged instruments, and fixing suitable ones.
• Ascertaining uninterrupted work processes by scheduling inspections, maintaining air quality mobile LAB, air quality analyzers (HORIBA, HONEYWELL, SPECTRATECH, GRIMM, LUFFT, and SIBATA)
• Supporting technical decisions such as field surveys, tracking and maintaining power sources (power provider, power gen, or solar system), warning taps, and signs).
• Authoring and maintaining global controls and automation standards, and templates including BMS/EPMS points lists, specifications, standardized controls bill of materials, etc.
• Working with innovative automation systems from large-scale industrial control vendors. Performing SCADA database development of field input/output points, alarming, and other database configurations required for control and saving all data rows in excel sheets.
• Supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the SCADA systems for seamless sequential shut-down once finish the monitoring, returning all equipment and handover of the site, and presenting detailed summaries and reports to Al-Mostadama company.
• Driving a Mobile lab truck and ensuring that all engineered solutions are endowed with the capability to meet project scope, budget & time constraints.
