• Familiarizes with project scope of work, general requirements, applicable standards, technical specifications and project milestone schedule.
• Prepares work plan and implementation strategy in line with project schedule and customer requirements for the assigned tasks. 
•  Checks adequacy of assigned resources (manpower, equipment, materials, plant, tools and safety gear etc.) as required to complete the assigned tasks. • Undertakes planning and scheduling of job activities, their assignment to working groups and progress monitoring on daily basis. 
• Supervises work performed by working groups, sub-contractors and other agencies involved in project execution and provides guidance when needed. • 
• Ensures prompt inspections, site measurements, approvals of completed work quantities and submission to concerned organizations.
• Ensures all documentation, progress reports, instructions and other records are properly maintained and safeguarded at site.

• Prepare Bills of Materials and Cable Schedules.
• Assist in preparing project estimates using data from the utility material database when required.
• Work closely with peers to ensure accurate delivery and thorough electrical design that will meet industry standards and specifications and meet good engineering practices.
• Maintain complete project documentation with respect to engineering studies and calculations, all design packages.
• Maintain good working relationship with internal groups that support project such as other Engineering disciplines, Drafting, Procurement, Construction and Project Management etc.
• Construction support including resolving site queries, attending site meetings and performing site inspections during the construction phase of projects.
• Reports to the Substations Engineering Manager and/or Project Engineering Lead.
• Prepare overall project plan and construction schedule
• To mobilize resources manpower, equipment, materials in co-ordination with the project controller at Head Office To execute the project within the parameters of time, cost, profit, quality, HSE and productivity
