Aish Riaz

                                                                                                                                                            Being a doctor and a lecturer by profession, I have a total of more than 4 years of experience in teaching field. Along with this I possess 2 years of research experience. I  have completed Certificate of Health and  Professional Education (CHPE) which aims to instill professional development and provide expertise in medical education. I have been involved in enthusiastic and conceptual interactive teaching sessions of both medical and dental undergraduates in integrated curriculum on variety of topics using applications such as Kahoot, google classroom, jotform and Alchemer etc. I have a thorough knowledge of curriculum planning and have been a part of designing it. To ensure active learning, collaboration, problem solving and critical thinking various strategies including problem based learning (PBL), small group discussion (SGD), team based learning (TBL), bedside learning and inter professional education had been applied throughout my experience. I have been a part of Mentoring committee which ensures personal, practical and professional well being of individual student. I possess . sound knowledge of making professional Multiple choice questions and OSPE. Currently I have been working as a senior lecturer and provide academic as well as curricular support to my department. I am confident that I will make certain to provide healthy student centered learning where they shall be provided guidance, support along with the adaptability to any sort of new strategies.

                                                                                                I have been involved in research and design of new courses. I assess students course work and material and set OSPE and OSCE as part of examination. I have conducted various classroom strategies including Problem based learning, Small group discussion and integrative learning. I have performed various administrative tasks including Paper checking, invigilation duties and paper making. I have organized on campus and virtual Inter Medical College Quiz twice in which multiple countries had participated. I had been a part of research for 2 years.                                                           

I have completed Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery from Quaid e Azam Medical College, Pakistan. After that I completed Masters in Philosophy in Physiology from University of Lahore, Pakistan. I have a certification in Health and Professional Education. I have passed my IELTS exam with 7.5 band.
