My name is Alaa, I work as a software tester, used to be a programer.

• Extracted the application’s functional requirements, from the FRS/BRS documents.
• Created and implemented test cases, test scenarios,  for the company website, Android App, and their database. 
• Analyze and collect the requirements from Business Requirement Specification docs.
• Executed the generated test cases and uploaded the identified bug in bug tracking website(Jira).
• Wrote reports about the bugs, and provided ideas to improve softwares.
• Made regression testing for the application after the bug was solved.
• Identified ways to optimize the software to make it more efficient.
• Applied  many techniques of testing for black-box testing and gray box testing.
• Reviewing the functional requirement document and software requirement document to extract the functionality of the system and provide ideas to improve it, when needed.
• Conduct the required meetings with the developers. 
• Writing, executing and maintaining test cases for UI, functional and regression testing. Defects detection and reporting.
• Responsible for conducting database testing by writing SQL queries. Executing and troubleshooting  the stored procedures and functions( manual testing).
• Involved in smoke and exploratory testing. 
• Practiced using Selenium suite tools, for web applications, and automating regression test cases using selenium webDriver.
• Practiced writing automation coding scripts using Java programming language for web applications. 
• Send daily and weekly status reports.
