Alan Hillier

Soon finishing PhD from Memorial University of Newfoundland. I have interest and experience in Corrosion detection, failure/risk analysis, HAZOP, oil well programs, drilling/casing calculations, EHS/HSE rules and regulations, data acquisition systems, instrument calibration, etc. 
Experience with: LabVIEW, Solidworks, Matlab, all general word/PowerPoint/Excel programs and others.

Most of my experience is in my undergrad co-op program and an internship during my masters degree. 

Currently finishing my last research paper involving real time measurement of electrochemical potential noise from corroding carbon steel electrodes. This is one area of my research, using real time monitoring with a simple system to monitor for corrosion.
