Responsibilities handled
- Perform Operation (Field /CCR) of Gas Turbines, HRSGs, Steam turbines, and water treatment plant including safe start-up& shutdown of plant and loading/unloading of units as per system procedures and handling plant emergencies.
- Perform HV/LV switching.
- Currently Authorized as SAFETY CONTROLLER/ISSUER for preparation, issue, re-issue/transfer and cancellation of work permits. Chairing daily permit planning meeting to finalize the provisional plan for day ahead planned jobs.
- Review of daily report on plant performance based on various trends. Use of PI server, FMS and ETA PRO for analysis and fault finding.
- Prepared operational procedure for multiple operational activities.
- Been part of various internal projects like minimizing DM Water consumption in plant. Performing various audits in plant as per department requirement. Conducting toolbox talks and handling special assignments given by operations management.
- Maintaining good communication with Saudi Aramco (fuel gas supply), National Water Company (water supply) and Corporate & Regional Communication Centre (power Transmission dispatch center).
