I have over 10 years in the fields of Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, working with communities at the grassroots level national procurement framework and formulation of infrastructure and schools construction projects, community mobilization, and Contract Management.
I am looking for a position of a procurement Engineer in a company  that will allow me to apply the knowledge and skills I have acquired through my education and work experience with the World Bank developing projects in Ministry of Education and previously with the private sector
I have a solid education background as my B.Sc. is in Civil Engineering plus I acquired
Master’s degree in Engineering Management both from the University of Khartoum Sudan and my last achievement is a Master’s degree in the Public Procurement Management for sustainable development from the University of Turin in Italy.
From 2016-2020 I worked in the Basic Education Recovery Project (BERP), which is funded by GPE and supervised by World Bank. I have been supervising the school construction component on different states my responsibilities were included but not limited to developing market survey and unit cost index, Preparation of bill of quantities, setting out technical specification and the bidding documents. Conduct technical and cost analysis of the designs, Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and contracts for school construction, either managed through the conventional approach or the community-empowerment approach. Conduct comparative analysis, conduct inspections on sites and suggest correction measures if needed, cost estimates & qualifications, evaluation of bids, awarding contracts and contract management. I have also been supervising state engineers and site engineers. I have also developed a contract registry that management all the procurement processes in civil works.
I was conducting training/workshops for community empowerment modality in implementation of community base construction and this include logistic arrangement, developing training materials and supporting communities during implementation. Continuous monitoring of construction works and evaluation of completed projects by undertaking field visits for oversight and quality control. I worked in close collaboration with the State Ministry of Education and contractors ensuring efficient implementation, evaluating of executing works and issue payment certificates and provide regular reporting.
From June 2020 – up to date I Have been Working As Procurement officer, Sudan Basic Education Emergency Project, Sudan Basic Education Covid 19 Response Project, Sudan basic Education Support Project-Ministry of Education which are funded by GPE and supervised by World Bank my responsibilities are Provide support for developing procurement system and processes with Strict adherence to the WB Procurement Regulations for IPF for (Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services).Participate in preparation procurement plan , Management of Remote
