• Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliation in accordance with Enterprise Accounting Policies & Procedures Manual requirements for area of responsibility.
• Monitor compliance with the financial and accounting guidelines issued by the financial management.

• Develop solutions to the requirements given by customers and suppliers to answer it and maintain good communication and relationship with them.

Advise on zakat, tax and accounting aspects.

• Assist in the development and oversee the implementation of Finance’s policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high-quality and cost-effective results.
• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by adapting to changes in international standards, and changes in the business environment, and adopting leading practices within Finance.
• Oversee escalated Finance non-compliance case resolution and reduce non-compliance by ensuring the availability and promotion of stipulated policies and procedures.

Senior Accountant (from 5-2012 to 3-2021)

Main duties & responsibilities:

• Head of Account payable: vendors (goods, services, media), accruals, petty cash, and prepayments.
• Head of Account receivable: all A/R duties for KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, and Bahrain, plus doubtful accounts, salespersons commission, and credit memos.
• Head of Inventory: control, adjustments (working in two systems oracle and sales buzz)
• Expenses: (Capex&Opex)
• ASSETS: Fixed and intangible assets, capitalization, amortization, adding and disposal of assets
• Working on oracle app for many modules.
• Cash management: assisting the treasury manager by following up on cash inflow and all cash outflow. 
• Assists auditors with the year-end audit by providing accurate information on all corporate bank accounts and all their inquiries

TASKS I ACCOMPLISH: 

• I have worked closely with the chief accountant at the closing of every month and the year- for closing all modules.
• Lead a team of 4 senior accountants in different aspects of accounting: petty cash, vendors, expenses, accrued expenses, and inventory, and guide them.
• I have led the accounting training and procedures in the implementation of the oracle app in both Kuwait and UAE teams.
• Involved in installing the lock box (RAJHI BANK) in branches and resolving all the problems and doing the financial study of the case, working closely with the cash management team of RAJHI BANK.
• Work closely with the souq.com accounting team to handle the consignment deal with them.
• Work closely with the financial analyst for the chart of account and many other analyses (profitability, variance analysis, and ext.…).

• Trace the safe balance (cash management module)
•  Coordinate with logistics to trace orders and inter-organization transfer.

•  Contact with business department and prepare the daily sales report.
