I am a Public Health Masters degree holder from the United Kingdom with also a BSc in Microbiology. I can speak English FLUENTLY, can teach students from nursery to undergraduate level. I can also work in the a medical health care related field, in an environmental health field, food- beverages- water production/ purification industry, and petroleum company based on my qualifications and work experience.

PROFESSIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE CORPS TO PART-TIME LECTURER- 03/2020 to 02/2021; 03/2021 to TILL DATE Newgate College of Health Technology| Newgate University, Minna, Niger State- Nigeria 

• Efficiently taught various courses including; Environmental Health, Public Health Parasitology, Tropical Diseases in West Africa, First Aid Management, Fundamentals of Medical Microbiology and General Pathology within the institution AND their Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) and Kwara State University (KWASU) affiliate. 

• Managed up to 65 students at a time and ensured appropriate conduct per class. Also motivated students to maximise academic performance and successfully increased pass rates while using every opportunity to be a HIV/AID youth educator.

Collaborated with colleagues by• participating in team meetings, contributing to team goals, sharing ideas and documenting progress toward reaching adequate goals. Also included customer service duties to increase admission rate.

• Developed and implemented lesson plans for Islamic studies, Basic Science and Technology, Social Studies and other core subjects that aligned with the schools Islamic values and the nation’s primary schools curriculum. 

• Provided individualized attention and support to pupils who needed extra assistance especially dyslexic students. 

• Created a positive learning environment by promoting student engagements, morals, respect and teamwork. 

• Conducted assignments and communicated regularly with parents to discuss their wards general progress.

VOLUNTEER, SECRETARY, COORDINATOR and ADMIN OFFICER - 11/2015 to TILL DATE  Victims of Violence (VOV) Charity Foundation, Abuja - Nigeria   

• Supported the CEO and other executive directors in the establishment to manage data collation, keep detailed records of procedures and a careful log of patients’ progress. Also helped write proposals to source for funds and donations. 

• Efficiently used Microsoft office with standard ability and numerical skills to collect, organise and analyse reports. Also performed general receptionist and customer service duties with integrity, showing commitment to the organization.  

• Planned and coordinated outreach missions for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), COVID-19 relief, victims of banditry and flood, in house events and trips. Also operated medical testing equipment required by a healthcare providers and performed quality control on drugs and food supply while providing social services to strengthen the sexual, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Leprosy care in the communities.  

PRESIDENT FOR THE REPUBLIC of MALI DELEGATES-09/2019 to 06/2021 4th Model ECOWAS Summit/ African Youth Network for Leadership and Development, Abuja – Nigeria   

• Participated as one of the Heads of states that led a whole delegation. Was given the Mali republic and delivered an electrifying extemporaneous opening address on the theme of the summit to over 250 delegates at the plenary session.  

• Successfully managed the Mali delegates for the Summit and expanded my leadership horizon while developing my financial management and budget execution skills, interpersonal and human relationship skills. 

• Coordinated and resolved with other stakeholders like Vice-Presidents and  Speakers of Delegations at the summit. 

HEALTH AND RESEARCH ASSISTANT (MICROBIOLOGY INDUSTRIAL PLACEMENT)-04/2013 to 10/2013  Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB) Sewage Water Treatment Plant, Abuja – Nigeria   

• Engaged with the responsibility of environmental quality control evaluation, laboratory water quality assessment and microscopic examination of cultured samples collected.  

• Was responsible for receptionist and customer service duties to the general public also including compilation of daily activity records, cleaning the water storage tanks, disinfection and operating the mammoth rotors from the control room.
