As far as my teaching experience is concerned, I have been teaching students from all walks of life for over 6 years now. My teaching experience comprehends working in various educational settings, including private language schools, international schools, and public institutions. This has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of different curricula and teaching methods, as well as adaptability in different environments.

In my previous roles, I have successfully designed and implemented lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse student populations. I have also utilized various teaching tools and technologies to enhance the learning experience and promote student engagement. Additionally, I have experience in assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their language goals.

As a teacher, I see myself as a skillful educator that creates a welcoming and safe classroom atmosphere that is accessible to students from all walks of life and one that celebrates their diversity. I strive to maintain a classroom atmosphere that is conducive to learning and encourages dialogue. A conducive learning atmosphere has to be one of mutual respect that sets the tone for a classroom community where we are all sharing ideas and communicating and learning from one another at the same time. I am friendly, not intimidating yet with appropriate boundaries. As a teacher, the one thing that I constantly have focused on is the relationships that I have built with my students. Personal interaction with my students is crucial to the development of a good rapport with them. I see myself as a positive role model, a “cheerleader” for the class as I point out the positives about each student’s work in a sincere way, alongside constructive criticism. My main focus as a teacher is to maintain my positive energy from the beginning to the end despite the
challenges that may arise. I believe that to foster learning in the best way possible, I enhance contagious enthusiasm. Indeed, one pattern I have noticed throughout my teaching experience is that, very often, being enthusiastic about the studied materials finds its way to my students: They immediately share my passion for their curiosity and are instinctively stirred.
In the same way, I strive to enhance & promote cultural awareness for language represents and conveys culture in the sense of a translation of the values and norms. By exposing students to different socio cultural aspects related to the language they are learning (different dialects, varieties of food, of Music and Cinema), I am hoping to stimulate their critical thinking via the use of authentic materials (documentary excerpts, video clips) and interactive activities (I try to enhance interpreting meaning through texts, movies but also music or visual materials). I would say that students by the end of the semester should reach not only a certain level of proficiency but also they should be able to develop
communicative competence.
My philosophy of education is based on what I know and have experienced. I am sure that my teaching philosophy will improve as I learn more like a young professional. A teacher is not just a teacher but a lifelong learner.
