I am Dr. Mohammed Hamid Karrar Alsharif, a Sudanese national with academic qualifications of Ph.D. in Histology and Embryology from Ondokuz Mayıs University, Turkey, as well as a Master's degree in Human Anatomy. My thesis was entitled “Stereological and Histological Evaluation of Dexamethasone, Betamethasone, and Methylprednisolone in Promoting Peripheral Nerve Regeneration; Study in a Rat Model” and was well commented on. I have completed my Pre-Master’s in Health Professions Education and now pursuing my Master's in Health Professions Education from the University of Gezira, Sudan in collaboration with WHO.
I have more than ten years of teaching and research experience, and since 2011, I have been working in the Department of Anatomy at the College of Medicine and College of Dentistry, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. I have been working as a Committee Member in the Nervous System and Special Senses Module for Graduate Medical students and have been actively participating in research activities with roles as Principal Investigator and Research Assistant in several Granted Research Projects by the current University, and have published more than thirty research articles in various reputed scientific journals. I am also an Editorial Board Member for PLOS ONE journal (IF 3.752, Q2).
