I MOHMMAD ABDUL GAFFAR ,I am writing to apply for the position of Mechanical Engineer, I'm particularly interested in this HVAC/Plumbing/Fire Fighting / Infrastructures works Mechanical Engineer position, which relates strongly tomy14 years of rich & extensive experience in Strategic Project Management, Site & Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering and People Management.  

Role: 

• Instituting & executing high level site & construction strategies, making high-stake decisions and overcoming complex business challenges using experience-backed judgment, strong work ethics and irreproachable integrity
• Creating & sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters the development opportunities and motivates the high performance amongst the team of 4 Site Mechanical Engineers & 8 Foremen (with 120 manpower) 
• Developing project baselines and controlling the same with respect to cost, resource deployment, time overruns and quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects
• Formulating site operations in new & growth areas and motivating people to perform beyond their normal past established skills/ levels and impacting organization’s profitability through effective strategic & tactical management decisions
• Collaborating with:
  • Stakeholders while keeping them informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all requirements and deliverables
  • Vendors, Suppliers, Subcontractors for timely execution and delivery of ordered items
  • Other discipline and ensure site clearance is available to start the Activities
• Assisting the Project Manger during preparation of final test reports, as built drawings, operation & maintenance manual and handing over the project to client
• Getting approved Shop Drawings, MEP- Coordination Drawings, Work method statement and Project Specification from Consultant/ client
• Ascertaining:
  • All mechanical materials are available and approved by Inspection department prior to installation
  • Sufficient hand tools, power tools, ladder and scaffolding are available for installation
• Working on arranging the sufficient manpower such as Site engineer, Foreman, and site technicians and labors and ensure all of them attended safety orientation and having proper PPE’s prior start installation activities at site
• Providing approved Shop drawing, MEP Co-ordination Drawing to site engineer and inform them to shift the required approved material from warehouse to site and arrange required material to avoid progress delay
• Prior to start mechanical activities notify to QC Personal for surveillance to ensure the quality work 
• Maintaining safe all construction HVAC, firefighting, plumbing and Chilled water piping activities are carried out in accordance with the Company’s safety policies and procedures; ensure that appropriate safety and protective equipment is used by Company & Contractor staff
• Closely managing site activities to ensure quality of work is in compliance with approved shop drawing and Specification and get daily progress report from site engineer and update to Project Manager. 
• Ensuring effective preparation of:
  • Relevant documents to conduct inspection for completed installation activities and raise RFI to QC-Inspector (To ensure that any activity offered for inspection has an attachment of IFC drawing, method statement (if required), Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) followed by check list)
  • Relevant documents to Conduct Testing inspection such as Duct light testing for Ducts and Hydro test for Above ground and Underground water piping’s, systems.
• Carrying out all planned site inspections as per the intervention points marked in the relevant drawing and standard
• Facilitating active involvement in weekly meetings with the Project management & QC Supervisor and Manager to resolve the site related issues
• Assisting the Commissioning Team on:
  • Pre-commissioning & Commissioning stages of all HVAC Equipment’s
  • Testing, Adjusting & Balancing (TAB) stages of the Air and Hydronic Piping’s

• General Security for Training City-( 2018-Present), King Abdullah Project providing Residential Buildings (GF +5), Administrative Buildings (GF+2), Mosque, Theatre, Main Dormitories (GF+2), Sport Training Center, Educational Buildings, Restaurant, Central Kitchen, Clinic Building, Musical Building, Workshop Dormitories, Supply and Maintenance Building, Security Gates and Parking Area
