Nadia Zaman-Iqbal

I’m Nadia, and I’ve spent over eight years working in project management, mainly on large-scale infrastructure and utilities projects like HS2 in the UK. What I really enjoy about my work is bringing different stakeholders together, solving complex challenges, and making sure projects are delivered smoothly.

I’ve been visiting Riyadh quite often, and I’m honestly blown away by the transformation and ambition of the projects happening there. It’s inspired me to take the step of moving my career to Saudi Arabia, where I can contribute to Vision 2030 and be part of shaping something so impactful. Outside of work, I love exploring new cultures, spending time with family, and keeping myself motivated through continuous learning.

I have over eight years of experience in project management, specialising in large-scale infrastructure and utilities projects. Most recently, I worked on HS2 Phase 1 in the UK, where I focused on stakeholder engagement, regulatory compliance, cost control, and governance. I’ve built a strong track record of coordinating complex programmes with multiple stakeholders and ensuring projects are delivered to scope, budget, and schedule. Having recently achieved my APM qualification, I’m now looking to bring this expertise to Saudi Arabia’s transformative PIF-led projects, contributing to Vision 2030.

I recently completed the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ), which gave me a solid grounding in project management principles, methodologies, and best practices. The process helped me strengthen my ability to plan, manage risk, control costs, and engage stakeholders effectively. Alongside this, my academic background has supported my analytical and problem-solving skills, which I’ve been able to apply directly to the delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
