Rihame El Hajj

Even though I come from a completely different background since I hold a bachelor's degree in nutrition & dietetics, I luckily had the chance to work in two great private banks in Lebanon where I became curious about the business field and decided to pursue my studies in business. I got accepted to continue my master's degree in Financial Engineering, I had to put that on hold for personal reasons, I passed CFA Level 1 and I am a CFA Level 2 candidate and a CIA part 1 candidate as well. I would like to find a job opportunity in Finance, Accounting or Auditing where I can combine both experience and certifications together and start my growth career path. I am an ambitious person, a quick learner that can be taught anything even if I don't have the required experience and get the job correctly done. I believe that skills can be taught and what matters is the personality and attitude of professionalism of the person.

I have 9 years of total experience in two private banks in Lebanon, one of which is a very well-known Swiss Private Bank “Union Bancaire Privee” (headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland). I was in direct contact with the CEO on the daily tasks and he was the one who encouraged me to continue to studies in business when he saw me curious and eager to learn more about the investment world. When UBP had to close Beirut Branch and relocate to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates where it will become the main branch for the MENA region, I was not able to relocate. Both the CEO and Chairman recommended me to FFA Private Bank who happily interviewed me and welcomed me in their team and it's right there where I started expanding my knowledge and experience and worked on improving my learning capabilities.

Everyone gave me a chance and believed in me and in January 2022, I got promoted to Senior Associate.

As I said earlier, I have a bachelor degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, I started my master's degree in Financial Engineering that was suspended for quite some time, I passed CFA Level 1 and I am a CFA Level 2 candidate, I am a CIA part 1 candidate as well, I have many certifications cited on my CV which I cite below the most recent ones:
