Waqas Quraish

I pride myself on being a resourceful structural engineer and visionary individual focused on BIM and digital transformation, with a quick learning ability who has a clear understanding of the role and responsibilities associated with being an engineer. I have often been recognized by colleagues as being reliable, trustworthy, a very fast learner, and capable of working on my own initiative as well as having the ability to contribute effectively to a team. I am very organized and meticulous, love precision work, and always plan ahead.

I have been working in AEC Industry for more than four years and my current scope of work involves the design of deep foundations and different kinds of shoring works. I also have working experience on projects for emerging development organizations in Saudi Arabia like 'The Red Sea Global' (formally known as "The Red Sea Development Company") and NEOM but with a limited scope of deep foundations and shoring works. Before my current job, I have been working as a Structural Engineer with a considerably wider scope and also spent time on site first as a Site Engineer and then as a Project Engineer. I also have a working experience with Revit/dynamo on large-scale projects where I was solely responsible for all the digital delivery of the project including design and as-built models of LOD 400 and LOD 500 along with submission of all the documentation according to ISO 19650. I have also been using dynamo for the automated modeling of different structural elements on Revit.

I completed my Bachelor's in Civil Engineering in 2018 and Master's in Structural Engineering in 2021.
