Zaheer Theruvathkath

After completion of Bachelors in Technology in Electronics and Communication, I worked as a Software Engineer in 3i-Infotech Ltd. for 2 years from 2007 to 2009. My area of expertise was in Oracle D2k, forms and reports and am well versed in SQL and PLSQL. 

In December 2009, I decided to pursue higher studies and enrolled for a course in Telecommunication in the University of Essex in UK. I achieved first rank during that academic year and was awarded the Telecom Technologies Prize.

The Masters degree helped me to get a job as a Project Engineer in Worley where I have been working for the past 10 years. I am a member of the Saudi Aramco Project Management Team (SAPMT) and am involved in planning, cost estimation, engineering design and construction support of various instrumentation and control systems projects.

Being a part of Saudi Aramco Project Management team for the past 9 years helped me acquire valuable skills in Project Management (Planning, Cost Estimation, Procurement, Stakeholder Management and Construction Support). These skills aided me to successfully complete challenging Greenfield and Brownfield projects on various offshore platforms in Aramco worth over 10 million USD with zero recorded injuries on time and within budget.
In addition to this, I had effectively implemented over 400 Intelligent Field (I-Field) installations which comprised of PDHMS, SWC and MPFM on various Aramco offshore platforms. I was also recognized for being part of the team that developed and implemented the SCADA application for remotely operating the SWC systems on these platforms.
Another important achievement for me during this tenure was to be recognized for being part of a team that achieved over 100 mechanical completion certificates in a financial year.
Furthermore, I had been working as the division planner for the past few years and was responsible for creating various well tie-in plans, I-Field plans, S-curves, and tracking sheets which were updated on a weekly basis for sharing with the stakeholders.
