Eram Talent, a leading talent acquisition consultancy, is currently seeking a Marine Inspector for offshore projects. As a Marine Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of marine operations related to offshore projects. Your responsibilities will include inspecting vessels, offshore structures, and equipment, as well as assessing compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections on vessels, offshore structures, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Conduct audits of operational procedures, risk assessments, and emergency response plans
• Evaluate the condition and maintenance of marine assets, identifying any defects or issues
• Review documentation and records for accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve any non-compliance issues
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to project teams on marine safety matters
• Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Marine Inspector in offshore projects
• Strong knowledge of marine safety regulations and standards
• Proficiency in conducting inspections and audits
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Valid certifications in relevant areas, such as STCW, ISM Code, or similar
• Willingness to travel to offshore locations as required
