Specific Accountabilities:

· Design calculations for electrical system such as Fault level, voltage drop, equipment sizing, lighting, earthing, cable sizing

· Development of load lists, equipment list

· Development of electrical power distribution concepts, SLD, schematic diagrams

· Development of electrical layouts, hazardous area classification layouts

· Electrical protection and relay selection, setting, coordination.

· Specifications and data sheets for electrical equipment

· Technical bid evaluation, Vendor drawing review, Factory inspection tests on electrical equipment

· Control of electrical design budget and schedule

· Technical supervision of electrical designers and draftsmen

· Preparation of manhour estimates to perform project tasks based on tender scope documents

Essential Skills/Experience:

· Graduate of post graduate degree in Electrical engineering

· 10 years + plus design experience within the oil and gas industry

· Familiarity with international standards such as IEC, BS and oil industry standards such as Shell DEP, BS

· Experience in use of electrical system software such as EDSA, ETAP
