Swimming skills:

Excellent swimming skills and moving effectively in the water.
Good physical strength to control different positions and lift people out of the water.
Knowledge of first aid:

Understand and apply first aid skills, including cardiac resuscitation and artificial respiration.

Ability to react quickly and make effective decisions in emergency situations.
