- Oversee and direct Strategic Growth and M&A initiatives for Global Tax.
- Take charge of Global Tax Function's interaction with the Strategic Growth Leadership Team, M&A, Joint Ventures (JVA), Strategic Business Units (SBU), deal counterparts,, various departments, and external stakeholders, including relevant government authorities.
- This involves generating, defending, and delivering value by optimizing deals and growth investments.
- Spearhead the planning and timely communication of project risks, opportunities, and deliverables to enhance informed business decision-making throughout the entire project life cycle, from opportunity development to implementation.
- Lead and coordinate the regional and global Tax team along with external advisors to devise optimized deal and growth investment structures.
- This encompasses areas such as tax incentives, optimized JVA deal terms/structure, ownership and financing structures, Global Enterprise Model
- (covering technology, feedstock, sales, and marketing intercompany pricing), economic model, legal agreements review, legal entity and system setup, etc.
- Ensure a consistent global tax approach and accurate reporting.
- Contribute insights to the Global Tax Planning and Projects Lead regarding the formulation, management, monitoring, and completion of Zakat & Tax planning strategy.
- Completion of a Bachelor's program in pertinent fields like Law, Economics, Accounting, or Finance
- Attainment of a professional qualification like a Tax Practitioner's Certificate, CPA, Law, or ACCA
- A minimum of 10 years in international tax and M&A activities, with a preference for experience in KSA Zakat.
- Extensive background in the tax domain within major multinational corporations and/or renowned Big 4 firms.
- Specialized Competencies:
- Profound expertise in global tax planning, adept at optimization, and skilled in managing tax-related risks.
