    ABSA: HR Learnership Programme 2023 / 2024



    Participate in a 12months learning programme in order to maximise individual and organizational development benefits through a execution of predefined training objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Workplace experiences: Attend and participate in all workplace experience against agreed developmental objectives.
    • Learning: Attend and participate in all training and development interventions against agreed development objectives
    • Ad-hoc duties: Provide support to customers and team as required to ensure team performance on an ongoing basis
    • Administration: Effectively fulfil all required administrative duties, including tracking and reporting.

    Requirements:

    • South African citizen
    • Between 18 and 30 years old
    • Completed Matric
    • Passed English 50%+; Second Additional Language 50%+ Maths/Maths Lit 50%+
    • Not currently employed
    • Not currently enrolled at a Higher Institution of Learning
    • Clear criminal record
    • Clear credit record

    Required Education:

    • National Diplomas / Advanced Certificates: Human Resources Management

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Computer literate
    • Good command of the English language (able to read, write and speak English)
    • Good communication skills
    • Self-motivated
    • A team player
    • Willing to learn
    • Previous banking knowledge (advantageous but not essential)
