Job summary
The Event Application Software Manager is responsible for planning implementing and operating the Games Management System HMS and Help Desk System HDS for the Games.This role ensures that these applications are fully functional tailored to the needs of the Organizing Committee integrated with relevant functional areas and compliant with OCA guidelines and local regulations.
Ensure all GMS modules are delivered in alignment with OCA standards Games operational requirements agreed timelines Coordinate closely with LOC functional areas Accreditation Protocol Transport Accommodation Volunteers Uniforms Sports etc to gather validate translate operational requirements into system configurations Manage relationship with GMS vendor ensure clear scope definition issue resolution delivery accountability Act primary focal point between operational teams technical providers smooth collaboration timely decision-making Oversee deployment operation Help Desk System HDS support Gametime systems users Define configure incident categories severity levels escalation paths SLAs reporting workflows Establish enforce procedures incident logging tracking SLA monitoring resolution validation Plan lead User Acceptance Testing UAT homologation activities GMS modules HDS ensuring operational readiness compliance Develop deliver training sessions manuals user guides LOC staff stakeholders volunteers Support functional areas test events simulations Gametime rehearsals Ensure full compliance KSA data protection regulations hosting requirements secure storage access control handling personal operational data Coordinate vendors hosting providers meet national regulatory cybersecurity standards Monitor system performance Gametime rapid resolution incidents issues Provide onground commandcenter support critical periods Produce postGamereports covering system performance usage statistics incident analysis lessons learned recommendations future events We welcome applicants demonstrate integrity professionalism commitment maintaining safe respectful workplace where everyone protected valued given fair opportunities thrive
