    Parsons KAFD is lookingfor an amazingly talented Senior Project Manager MEPto join our team

    In this role you will join a leading professionalengineering construction and cost management team working onmultiple projects in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD).KAFD is a master plan development positioned to become Riyadhs newCentral Business District that combines a mixture of worldclasscommercial offices hotels retail spaces and contemporary residencesin addition to smart city solutions that redefine urban living.

    The Senior Project ManagerMEP is responsible for the projects scope development scopemanagement and commercial performance to meet project goals andobjectives. Plans and defines program goals and devises methods toaccomplish them; develops indepth knowledge of client objectivescontract terms and corporate policies. Should be familiar with theintegration of engineering/technical aspects as well as procurementand construction activities.

    What Youll Be Doing:

    • Acts as the Company representative with theclient and selected subcontractors during the program execution.
    • Negotiates changes to the scope of work withthe client and key subcontractors.
    • Marketsand secures additional work with clients.
    • Responsible for following up on instructions andcommitments associated with the project.
    • Mayparticipate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in publicmeetings in support of clients.
    • Overseesestablishment of Project Execution Plan Health and Safety PlanQuality Assurance/Quality Control Plan and other documents asrequired.
    • Establishes the programrequirements for all areas of the project and monitors the draftand final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
    • Responsible for the development and distribution of a oneto twopage description of the project to all members of the projectteam for reference.
    • Plans directs supervisesand controls the execution of all business technical fiscal andadministrative functions of the assigned project.
    • Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to keysubordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize theirqualifications and strengths.
    • Provides inputto performance reviews and development plans for subordinates.
    • Field responsibilities may include laborrelations local procurement payroll operations etc. if required.
    • Mobilizes company resources through liaisonwith support departments other offices or subsidiaries to createproject teams capable of completing effective quality work.
    • Discusses the qualifications required of thekey project positions in specific detail with the profit center anddepartment managers.
    • Collaborates with theoffice facilities staff to address project space requirements.
    • Works with other managers project engineersand discipline leads to develop budgets schedules and plans for thevarious elements of a project.
    • Ensures thatthe project meets or exceeds the goals established in these plans.
    • Works with the key project individual todevise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overrunsor delays or to accommodate significant changes to the scope ofwork.
    • Advises the client and companymanagement of any such changes.
    • The ProjectManager is specifically responsible for maintaining current andtimely change orders.
    • Promotes technical andcommercial excellence on the project through application of QualityAssurance processes.
    • Monitors and reports tomanagement on the progress of all project activity within theprogram including significant milestones and any conditions thatwould affect project cost or schedule.
    • Establishes weekly meetings to review project status andformulate action items.
    • Performs otherresponsibilities associated with this position as may beappropriate.

    What Required Skills You Will Bring;

    • Bachelors Degree inEngineering or related technical/business field and typically 15years of related work experience is required.
    • The incumbent should have a broad general technical andbusiness background and previous project management experience onsimilar or related projects.
    • Professionalregistration may also be required.
    • Extensiveinfrastructure experience
    • Previous experienceworking within an engineering consultancy within a PMC framework orsimilar
    • Contractor and Client Managementexperience
    • Proven ability to perform in amanagement capacity excellent written and oral communicationsskills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices andregulations are also required.
    • In additionmust be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can beeffectively utilized on the project.
