• Responsiblefor the safe keeping of all stock located within thewarehouse.
• Controls andmonitors the movement of all inventory items and ensures thatinventory items are available when required.
• Responsible for all incomingdeliveries and shipment and safe keeping of all stock locatedwithin the warehouses.
• Operates proceduresfor activities such as verification of incoming to and outgoingfrom of equipment / materials shipments from thewarehouse.
• Handling and disposition ofinventory items and keeping warehouse inventory current andaccurate.
• Compares deliveries withspecifications indicated on purchase orders/contract document andprepares discrepancy reports for any item not incompliance.
• Using delivery documentation ordelivery notes prepares items for dispatch to clients.
• Inspects physical condition of the storage areamaterials and equipment.
• In conjunction withthe Financial Controller undertakes physical inventories ifrequired.
• Performs other duties as assignedto support other departments when required.
• Works within the companys policies objectives and qualitymanagement system.
• Keeps the warehouse cleanand presentable.
• Works closely withprocurement department & finance department.
