We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer tojoin our IT team and help us secure and optimize our webbasedsystems. You will be responsible for implementing and maintainingsecurity best practices and standards across our WordPress websiteour .NET/MSSQL information system and our JavaScript Fullstackapplications. You will also collaborate with developers andoperations teams to automate and streamline the development testingand deployment processes using various tools andtechnologies.

To be successful in this role youshould have a strong background in web development cloud computingand cybersecurity. You should also have experience with variousDevSecOps tools and technologies such as Jenkins GitHub ActionsGitlab Ansible Docker Kubernetes AWS/OCI Git SonarQube OWASP etc.You should be able to work independently and as part of a team tosolve security issues and improve performance andefficiency.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement security policies standards and proceduresfor our webbased systems following industry best practices andregulations

Perform regular security assessmentsand audits of our webbased systems to identify and remediatevulnerabilities and risks

Monitor and analyzesecurity logs and alerts from various sources such as serversnetwork devices applications and cloud services to detect andrespond to security incidents.

Implement andmaintain security controls and solutions such as firewallsantivirus encryption VPN SIEM IDS/IPS etc. to protect our data andsystems from unauthorized access modification ordestruction

Develop and maintain CICD pipelinesand scripts to automate and integrate the development testing anddeployment processes using tools such as Jenkins GitHub ActionsGitlab Ansible Docker Kubernetes AWS/OCI Gitetc.

Test select and implement technologiestools and methods to improve the performance reliability andscalability of our webbased systems.

Educate andtrain users and IT staff on security awareness and bestpractices

Research and stay updated on thelatest security trends threats andtechnologies

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science information security orrelated field or equivalent work experience

3years of experience in web development cloud computing andcybersecurity

Knowledge and experience with webdevelopment technologies and frameworks such as WordPress PHP .NETMSSQL MySQL JavaScript HTML CSS etc.

Knowledgeand experience with DevSecOps tools and technologies such asJenkins GitHub Actions Gitlab Ansible Docker Kubernetes AWS/AzureGit SonarQube OWASP etc.

Knowledge andexperience with security frameworks and standards such as NCA NISTISO PCI HIPAA etc.

Knowledge and experience withsecurity testing and analysis tools such as Nmap MetasploitWireshark Burp Suite etc.

Knowledge andexperience with scripting languages such as Python PowerShell Bashetc.

Excellent communication problemsolving andanalytical skills

Certification in security suchas CISSP CEH CISM etc. is a plus
