A new role has come up for a Senior R&D Specialist to join an exciting and innovative FMCG business in Jeddah, Certified as 'A Great Place to Work'. The role will focus on Coffee and pastries/desserts development and the remit will include market research, analyzing market trends and customer needs, competitor analysis and testing new potential products:

Responsibilities

· Leading and supervising the entire product development process, from conceptual stages to final launch

· Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, design, and manufacturing to ensure the success of product launches

· Conducting market research, analyzing market trends, examining customer needs, and analyzing competitors

· Creating product concepts and collaborating with design teams to bring them to fruition

· Overseeing trial and testing processes

· Coordinating product launch activities

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (food science, food product development, etc.)

· Minimum of 3 years' experience in food and beverage research and development

· Deep understanding of food and beverage industry trends and innovations

· Fluent written and spoken English

· Ability to handle challenges and a strong attention to detail
