POSITIONOVERVIEW

Thisposition reports to the Head of Advanced Analytics in theCHC business unit inSanofi

• Acornerstone of CHC transformation in the coming years,the Senior Data Scientist will play a key role for shaping the coredata capabilities that drive critical use cases within CHC
  
• We are looking for anenergetic, focused, and skilled senior data scientist with strongdata and information management, business analytics andcommunication skills to help improve the business process of CHC sglobal functions, IA and Supply Chain
  
• In this role, you willdrive critical business You will play a key role to driveend-to-end solutions from understanding the business requirementsof CHC, exploring a large amount of historical data, build MLpredictive forecasting models, building prototypes and exploringconceptually new solutions collaborating with Sanofi s Data Scienceteam and

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

TheSenior Data Scientist will be responsiblefor:

• Build Machine Learningand AI models to generate business
  
• Identify the business need and deepdiving into forecasting issues using SQL and scripting languageslike R, Python, and internal dashboards to drive short term fixesand long-term
  
• Lead modeling effortsfrom conceptualization to implementation, keeping all relevantpartners
  
• Building reusable tools tostreamline the modeling pipeline and sharingknowledge
  
• Researching &implementing state of the art and traditional modeling techniquesincluding tree-based models, Deep Learning, linear models,unsupervised methods, embeddings, representations, and
  
• Turn all technical outcome to asimple storyline to explain the solution to the CHC business
  
• Supervising dailyexecution and delivery from start to completion involvingdeadlines, achievement, and processes; engaging vital andappropriate resources across product lines and shared services persolution blueprint and align IT capacity with top business
  
• Act as asubject matter expert in the design and recommendation ofanalytical methodologies andapproaches

• Proven experience in Machineleaning and Statistical learning oriented to

Requirements

• Experienceworking in FMCG
  
• Experience usingscripting languages such as Python or R, and common libraries suchas scikit-learn, pandas, xgboost,
  
• Experience applying &implementing solutions with the following data science concepts anddomains: Classification, Regression, Deep Learning, NLP, FeatureEngineering
  
• 3+ years of hands-onexperience working with large scale data and advance analytics lifecycle, including data discovery, business intelligence, dataquality management, metadata management, and related
  
• Hands-on experience with relationaldatabases, data warehouses, operational data stores, in-memorydatabases, SQL and noSQL technologies and
  
• Problem-solving skills, creativethinking, and ability to implement creative solutions that tacklebusiness
  
• Agile ways of working andlarge projects phased delivery
  

Data &Business intelligence domain and softwareexperience is a plus:

• Experience of Interfacingheterogeneous systems and data sources
  
• Experience in cloudcomputing platforms like AWS orAzure
  
• Experience inRe-clustering of data and Micro-Partitioning inSnowflake
  
• Experience in data mining,forecasting, simulation, and/or predictivemodeling
