Job Description 1. Conduct research on global policy concepts relevant to the strategic goals. 2. Lead policy research projects and analyse best practices in benchmark locations. 3. Assess if proposed policies require regulatory impact assessments. 4. Evaluate policy proposals and regulatory impact statements for alignment with the company's framework. 5. Develop policy documents and impact assessments, especially for complex issues. 6. Engage with and maintain relationships with regulated entities in the region. 7. Ensure policy alignment across different sectors and with the Saudi economy. 8. Organise meetings, surveys, and workshops to gather input from various stakeholders. 9. Participate in team meetings with a focus on public policy and regulations. 10. Collaborate with consultants supporting the Public Policy Division's functions. The Successful Applicant The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or a relevant field, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's degree. They should have a substantial 10-13 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role, demonstrating a strong foundation in leadership and managerial skills. Excellent communication skills in English are crucial, along with a valuable background of experience in the region. Furthermore, the successful candidate should exhibit exceptional research and analytical skills. Their broad knowledge of policy and regulatory tools, coupled with the ability to apply them across various sectors, is essential. The candidate should be adept at assessing the risks associated with policy challenges and comprehending the impact of different policy responses. Additionally, they should have a profound understanding of and be proficient in applying and evaluating the policy development process, principles, and framework. Overall, the successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong educational background, a wealth of relevant experience, and the ability to lead and communicate effectively in English, while being well-versed in regional dynamics and possessing advanced policy and regulatory expertise.
