- Lead and participate in integrated reservoirsimulation studies including data analysis model constructionhistory matching calibration and prediction.
- Act as a technical advisor to management regarding bestpractices for reservoir simulation and modeling particularly forunconventional resources simulation challenges.
- Collaborate closely with Petroleum and OperationsEngineers to generate monitor and ensure execution of shortterm andlongterm data gathering plans for their field including well testsproduction logging tests and formation pressure data.
- Utilize petroleum engineering software for variousanalyses including well test analysis material balance productionlogging and nodal analysis.
- Apply specializedsimulation modeling techniques such as fracture modelingcompositional modeling PVT modeling coupling surface and subsurfacemodeling and complex well and smart completions.
- Study and propose alternatives to optimize fielddevelopment and maximize hydrocarbon recovery from new and maturefields.
- Provide expert mentoring training andteach inhouse technical courses to develop youngengineers.
- Represent This Company in externaltechnical contacts with consultants and vendors and participate intechnical societies and groups.

- Hold a Bachelors degreein engineering geology geophysics or physics. An MSc or PhD isdesirable.
- Possess a minimum of 15 years ofintensive experience in reservoir simulation encompassing bothconventional and unconventional fields. Completion of specializedcourses and seminars is expected with technical publications beingvalued but practical experience being paramount.
- Demonstrate experience in unconventional reservoirsimulation.
- Exhibit the ability to workeffectively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate ideasclearly with specialists in reservoir characterization geologicmodeling petrophysical evaluation core analysis reservoirmanagement and production engineering.
- Haveextensive working knowledge of standard vendor applications for preand postprocessing of simulation data.
