    Job Description

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Service Engineer to provide advanced engineering support for Emerson products and services in the field of cybersecurity.

    This role includes maintenance services, diagnostics, installation and commissioning, start-up, problem resolution, and project execution. The Senior Cybersecurity Service Engineer will serve as a key focal point for customer technical support, managing service contracts, projects, and delivering technical solutions. Advising customers on preventative maintenance and configuration adjustments to enhance product performance and overall customer satisfaction is a key responsibility.

    This role also involves coordinating Emerson personnel and service activities to ensure the successful delivery of customer expectations.

    Emerson Automation Solutions is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Senior Cybersecurity Service Engineer.

    He/She will be part of the Cybersecurity deliver team and will be responsible to lead a project sub-team focused on Cybersecurity aspects, technical support and services to our installed base.

    He/She is part of the team responsible to create a positive experience for our customers and delight them with solutions that exceed their expectations and help them to make the systems security.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Perform advanced maintenance tasks in accordance with customer requirements. base customer support activities including phone support, field service and remote diagnostics, as well as interface with Emerson Field Support Engineers, regional offices and expert resources as needed to resolve issues.
    • Provide recommendations to the customer on product or solutions, enhancements, and system health checks.
    • Perform and lead service projects and take ownership for customer co-ordination.
    • Provide resolution to complex technical issues and resolve Customer disruptive events, where appropriate consulting with Emerson CSE (GSC and Product Engineering).
    • Performing vulnerability assessments on customer's control systems, developing assessment reports, and suggesting mitigation/remediation strategies. He/She will be then responsible to review these with the customers and implement on customer systems at sites around Middle East.
    • Implementing recommended mitigation/remediation strategies & Installation, configuration and tuning of Emerson Cybersecurity solutions. He/She will be responsible to select required components, configure those and ensure that the offered solutions meet the specifications and achieve customer acceptance.
    • Foster a positive environment in a Cyber Team for work and professional growth.
    • Support Emerson MEA with Sales activities as required.
    • Continually and proactively increase one's technical capabilities, growing and establishing higher levels of expertise.
    • Help to enhance the value of the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence by contributing towards additional group activities/tasks, developing new internal/external solutions, and assisting with training (as appropriate).
    • Be available as required to support the on-call rotation.
    • Comply with ` Emerson requirements for business processes including timesheets, site visit reports and all other documentation in line with Emerson Process Management internal procedures.

    Basic Qualifications

    • The position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering- Computer Technology or equivalent.
    • The position requires minimum of 5 years' experience in implementing network segmentation, network monitoring, security event monitoring.
    • This position requires detailed understanding of Emerson Distributed Control Systems requirements and applicable Cybersecurity solutions.
    • Must have acquired at least one of industry certifications such as McAfee Network Security Administration, ISA Cybersecurity Certifications, CISSP, CISA.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in a formal environment.
    • Preferred Qualifications
    • Knowledge of Cybersecurity appliances, applications, tools, and techniques used in DeltaV / Ovation and in other applications.
    • Conversant with DeltaV Networking, DeltaV Cybersecurity solutions, and antivirus solutions.
    • Possess advanced troubleshooting skills (i.e., diagnosing and resolving computer related issues).
    • The ability to work effectively with internal and external customers is essential.
    • Working knowledge of ISA/IEC 62443 and DeltaV Cybersecurity manual.
    • Languages

    English written and spoken is mandatory, Arabic and French at any level are an asset.

    Physical locations of this position will be Saudi Arabia with long term travel expected to the other countries in the Middle East and Africa World Area
