We are currently looking for gogetters to join ourteam for the following role:

    Title: LogisticsCoordinator

    Function: SupplyChain

    Reporting to: LogisticsManager

    Location: Al Khobar SaudiArabia

    About the Role

    As aLogistics Coordinator the successful candidate will be responsiblefor managing purchase orders coordinating with suppliers andfreight forwarders and ensuring smooth customs clearance in AlKhobar Saudi Arabia. This role plays a pivotal part in maintainingefficient supply chain operations and providing support to oursalesteam.

    Responsibilities

    • Submitand place purchase orders to suppliers
    • Followup with suppliers on shipping and clearanceprocesses
    • Assign freight forwarders wheneverneeded and negotiate to get the bestrates
    • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure thematerial is received on time and in accordance to officialorders
    • Liaise and follow up with customsbrokers to ensure the material is cleared always within the freetime and eliminate any kind of demurrages or detentioncharges
    • Report to the logistics manager on thestatus of shipments periodically
    • Providefrequent updates on the ERP system for all shipmentdetails
    • Support the sales department infulfilling orders
    • Update the sales team on thelatest status of their orders
    • Thoroughly reviewall shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance withformal regulations
    • Eliminate lead time oforders through efficient correspondence with all relevant partiesinvolved in theprocess

    Requirements

    • Universitydegree
    • Previous experience in Logistics is anadvantage
    • Good communication skills andhighlevel English fluency
    • Knowledgeable in MSOffice skills and an ERP System
    • Good knowledgeof logistics processes international freight systems and INCOterms
    • Must be detailoriented to ensurehighlevel accuracy when reviewingdocuments
