    Responsibilities

    The Geozone Product Line Manager for Digital Solutions is responsible for the planning, organization, leadership, management and execution within the Saudi Arabia area to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, corporate and product line growth objectives, while maintaining the highest level of service quality and safety commitment to our clients.

    The Manager will interface with the Geozone Senior Vice President and Global Product Line Vice President to determine and assist in the implementation of product line strategies and will interface regularly with all areas of the sales organization to assure the product line is being represented to meet client expectations and ensure healthy market share position.

    In addition, this role is responsible for managing the white space between the different product lines and capitalize on multi product line relationships and bundling opportunities.

    • In a supervisory / management role demonstrates effective safety leadership by being responsible for the health and safety arrangements of all and any subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises to enhance the Company s commitment to safety performance

    QUALITY

    • Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford s Management System
    • Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business

    COMMUNICATION

    • Share accountability with sales and business development teams for local customer relationships and market share encroachment. Maintain a high profile within customer community
    • Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external
    • Clearly communicates expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports
    • Responsible for maximizing financial results of the product line within assigned geography, including forecast, profit and loss, fixed assets, inventory, capital expenditures, payables and receivables
    • Preparation & Review of Bid Summary Analysis (BSA s) for applicable projects with justification both strategic and financial. Presentation and approval of BSA s to appropriate GOA in advance of all commercial submissions
    • All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses
    • Costs incurred should be within approved budget and processed within agreed time frames and following the relevant financial policy and procedure
    PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT


    • Influence Geozone organization to ensure time is scheduled for team members participate and to complete training & competency assurance program
    • Create a reliable organization and succession plan
    • Lead the way on people management to drive a motivated disciplined and productive workforce. This includes effective staff leadership, performance management by setting objectives and driving appraisals and communication
    • Collaborate with Human Resources and Training Development to drive strategies for the recruitment & retention of key personal & to foster an environment that enables the Company to attract & retain a high performing talented workforce
    • Actively engage with their employees to support talent management through Weatherford s performance management & coaching tools and processes, including but not limited to talent assessments, succession planning & regular coaching opportunities
    • Employees have a responsibility for developing their own careers within the Company including completing all necessary function, compliance & business standards training to enhance their knowledge, skills and experience
    VISION & LEADERSHIP


    • Participate in Geozone strategy, research and development requirements, and development priority for new and emerging products
    • Responsible and accountable for refining and executing the above strategies within the Geozone
    • Ensures all applicable components of the GZ and GPL strategy are developed into a GZ PL strategy and full executed across the GZ
    • Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, operations, global product line leaders and marketing to develop and provide product definitions, as well as be responsive to customer needs and market opportunities
    • Defines product line technology specific sales targets for the GZ, in collaboration with the GZ Sales Leader, via budgeting and local market strategy
    • Communicates and drives technology deployment and technology budget priorities through functional reporting lines from GZ technical Sales people
    • Demonstrates leadership, ethical behaviour and adherence to Weatherford standards at all times
    Qualifications

    REQUIRED

    • Bachelor s degree in Engineering or Science
    • 10+ years oil & gas industry experience
    • 2+ years Branch Plant/P&L experience
    • Experience in Production and understanding of the Oil & gas Production challenges and applications
    • Experience in the execution of day to day operations and product related projects
    • Experience in strategic planning and execution, knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management, skill in examining tenders, market conditions and operational requirements

    PREFERRED

    • Experience in sales and marketing
