Our client a premier medicalfacility is currently looking for a Registered Midwife to be basedin Eastern Province Saudi Arabia. For this role you will have thefollowing responsibilities:

• Conduct prenatalassessments including physical examinations health history reviewsand diagnostic tests to monitor the progress of pregnancy andidentify any potentialcomplications.
  
• Provide counselingand support to expectant mothers and their families regardingprenatal care childbirth breastfeeding and newborncare.
  
• Assist with childbirth bymonitoring maternal and fetal wellbeing providing pain managementtechniques and offering emotional support during labor anddelivery.
  
• Perform newbornassessments including APGAR scoring vital sign monitoring andinitial feeding support to ensure the health and wellbeing of theinfant.
  
• Provide postpartum care tomothers and newborns including breastfeeding assistance maternalrecovery monitoring and newborn screeningtests.
  
• Educate new parents on infantcare breastfeeding techniques postpartum recovery and contraceptionoptions to promote optimal maternal and infant healthoutcomes.
  
• Collaborate with otherhealthcare professionals including obstetricians pediatricians andlactation consultants to ensure comprehensive care for mothers andnewborns.
  
• Maintain accurate anddetailed medical records of prenatal childbirth and postpartum careprovided to patients.
  
• Stay currenton developments in obstetrics midwifery practices and maternalfetalmedicine through continuing education and professional developmentactivities.
  

Requirements

Tobe considered for this role you need to meet the followingcriteria:

• Bachelor s Degree inMidwifery from an Accredited School of Nursing/University ORBachelor s Degree in Nursing with additional Midwiferyqualification.
  
• Candidates mustpossess a minimum of 5 years of experience in ClinicalNursing.
  
• 2 years experience asRegistered Midwife
  
• Must be eligibleto take the SCFHS exam.
  
• Preferablywith valid SCFHS Nursing Specialist/Technicianlicense/certificate.
  
• Current licenseas a professional registerednurse.
  
• Proficient inEnglish
