Multi-disciplinedengineering firm looking to add a talentedConstructionEngineeringInspector totheir Grand Rapidsteam

• Dailycommunication with project team members, clients, andcontractors
  
• Read/interpretproject plans, drawings, andspecifications
  
• Variousinspections including underground utilities, road and/or bridgeitems and report discrepancies to ProjectEngineer
  
• FollowQA/QCpractices/procedures
  
• Ensurework is compliant with plans, contractorsubmittals
  
• Measure,calculate, and determine quantities of assigned work and/orinstalledmaterials
  
• Ensureinstalled materials meet specifications and testingrequirements
  
• PrepareDaily Inspector s Reports and review otherreports
  

• AssociatesDegree in Civil Technologyrequired
  
• Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineeringpreferred
  
• 3+years of construction/inspection experience withfield/office experience in transportation and municipalprojects
  
• 3+years of experience in bridge/roadway constructioninspection
  
• Experienceworking on Michigan constructionprojects
  
• MultipleMDOT certificationspreferred
  
• Experiencewith Bluebeam, Fieldbook, and MicrosoftOffice
