Do you have a passion for travel and tourism Then come join us at the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) as we help bring Saudi Arabia s Vision 2030 to lifeIn this role, you will be responsible for the development of the integrated trade marketing campaign for STA as well as the implementation, tracking, and measuring of trade marketing campaigns and their components against time and budgetary requirements.
You will be responsible:
Contributing to the design and implementation of the department s strategy and roadmap by providing function-specific inputs
Establishing and implementing the section s operational plans in support of the department s overall strategic plan and KPIs
Preparing the Trade Marketing Section's annual budget and participating in the Department s budgeting cycle and process
Utilizing and managing the Trade Marketing Section s budget effectively, and reporting accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
Investigating and proposing implementing strategies that result in positive financial impact for STA and mitigate financial and operational risks
Assisting in developing a trade marketing strategy for the Americas & Europe markets, in line with the overall set strategy and targets
Providing input into the localization of the global trade marketing strategy, and development of a trade marketing, communications, and sales plan, which includes goals, budgets, and tactics
Recommending potential strategic partnership relationships for different cluster country sales
Guiding the collection of data trends for each cluster to improve and grow market share
Contributing to the development and management of a growth strategy (sales and exposure) focusing on arrivals, spending and high satisfaction scores while ensuring alignment between different clusters
Managing the execution of the region's trade marketing campaigns across different clusters
Recommending campaign improvement opportunities based on performance measurement results
Reporting on the effectiveness of the regional trade marketing campaigns in relation to purchasing STA products
Supporting in management of all trade collateral, training, education, and fam pipeline
Proactively planning and assisting in managing strategies and content for trade media interactions and broader trade reputation management
Proposing improvements to the Trade Marketing Department s policies, and ensure the implementation of procedures and controls across all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high-quality and cost-effective results
Monitoring day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures
Stimulating subordinates and contributing to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes taking into account leading practices, changes in the business environment, cost reduction, and productivity improvement
Managing, guiding, and assisting direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures
Participating in identifying and recruiting key talent for the Trade Marketing Section
Promoting a high-performance working environment embracing STA s values
Supporting peers across the organization when needed to perform their duties
Performing any other activities as and when required
You will need:
A bachelor s degree in marketing or equivalent is preferred
A master s degree in marketing or equivalent is preferred
At least 8 years of experience in trade marketing or other relevant field
