    General Description ofRole and Responsibilities:

    Pre Contract

    • Adhere to the Clients projects and design brief andassist the team on the phasing and packaging strategy.
    • Develop RFP and Tender documents including scope of worksand deliverables for the procurement of consultants contractors andspecialists require view d for the project.
    • Evaluate Prequalification Documents forDesigners/Consultants and Design proposals ensuring that arecompliant with the client requirements.
    • Review and reply to bidders clarifications participate inissuing bulletins and attending Technical Meetings with biddersduring Tender stage.
    • Provide design andtechnical guidance to the consultants through design developmentphase and construction phase ensuring technically solid solutionsthat respond to project needs and are financially and timelyefficient.
    • Ensure all Interior designs complywith standard policies procedures development and designbriefs.
    • Review and validate consultantdeliverables (drawings reports etc) as compliant for each stage andfollow up on pending or commented issues. Ensure compliance withpolicies procedures processes and controls of project designactivities at all levels. Ensure constructability of designworks.
    • Manage multiple design and specializedconsultants and contractors teams support internal and externalteams to ensure highquality output and that all works arecoordinated with all other disciplines including but not limited toStructural mechanical electrical etc.
    • Assistwith developing a Responsibility Matrix that establishes thedesigners consultants and contractors roles andresponsibilities.
    • Continuously reviews thedesign costs to avoid cost overruns and ensure that the designmeets budget constraints.
    • Attend Technicaland coordination meetings with clients consultants and contractorsprepare MOM and follow ups on the meetings outcomes.
    • Coordinate with all departments internally and theDocument Controller to ensure that all documents are properlycontrolled and all works are coordinated.
    • Lead Interior Design workshops with consultants andcontractors facilitating for coordination and problem solvingbetween disciplines and maintaining records/trackers of theworkshops.
    • Prepare and review BOQ itemsrelated to Interior works and finishing packages.
    • Liaise with Design and project controls team for changemanagement process. Review keep track assess and monitor any changerequests and VE proposals related but not limited to Architecturalscope during the design development and construction stages.
    • Liase with Sustainability/Environmental teamon achieving sustainability project goals review provide input andcomments on clients Sustainability accreditation.
    • Liase with internal BIM team for coordination andinformation exchange on project designs and constructionactivities.
    • Manage RFI process assessresponses received by relevant parties.
    • Identify changes in scope through received comments RFIreplies etc. and manage the change request process. Coordinate withall departments.
    • Identify risks throughoutthe project life cycle and provide input on risk register alongwith mitigation proposals.
    • Informs themselvesof the relevant Quality Environmental Safety and OccupationalHealth Policies Manuals and Procedures within Hill Internationaland ensures continued compliance with these requirements whileemployed by Hill.
    • Produce relevant reports toDesign and construction progress on weekly basis.
    • Monitor and facilitate permitting process through thedesign development stages.
    • Establish closerelations with Client Consultants and external stakeholdersfacilitating efficient and recorded information distribution andcoordination.
    • Produce review and providerecommendations on close out project documentation.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the linemanager/supervisor.

    PostContract

    • Review TechnicalDocumentation related to Interior FF&E Art scope and ensurecompliance with approved design documentation.
    • Maintain an onsite presence during Interior fit outphases across works and any other works deemed necessary as withrealtime reporting to the client team on all relatedmatters.
    • Performs inspection of site worksmaterials and mockups making sure that execution is being doneaccording to approved shop drawings and materials.
    • Liaise with Construction and project controls team forchange management process. Review keep track assess and monitor anychange requests and VE proposals related but not limited tostructural MEP etc. scope during the construction stages.
    • Liaise with internal BIM team forcoordination and information exchange on project constructionactivities.
    • Manage RFI process assessresponses received by relevant parties.
    • Identify changes in scope through received comments RFIreplies etc. and manage the change request process. Coordinate withall departments.
    • Manage change requestprocess liaising with Cost Team obtaining required approvals.
    • Produce relevant reports to technicalconstruction documentation progress on weekly basis.
    • Produce review and provide recommendations on close outproject documentation including As Built O&Metc.

    QualificationsExperience Knowledge and Skills:

    • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Architecture from a reputableUniversity
    • RIBA/AIA accreditation preferred.
    • Minimum 12 years of experience in a similarrole and 6 of them in ME.
    • Experience in PMCand/or Design Consultancy projects is required.
    • Familiarity with Najdi Architecture and lighting designis highly appreciated.
    • Experience in InteriorDesign in Luxury Mixed use Sports and theaters/indoor arenasprojects is required.
    • Registration as alicensed professional is required.
    • Demonstrated time management and organizationalskills.
    • Experience in Autodesk REVIT andAutoCAD Software is preferred.
    • Experience inMS Word Excel and PowerPoint is required.
    • Experience in Oracle Aconex is required.
    • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability towork well under pressure and tight deadlines.
