Job Summary

We areseeking a corrosion engineer to join East West Pipelines Department(EWPD) EWPD is responsible for crude stabilization and storage aswell as transporting hydrocarbons from East to West and South ofSaudi Arabia through a network of pipelines pumps and compressionstations. The primary role of corrosion engineer withinPipelines/EWPD is to minimize assets degradation by deployingPD&T and company established programs.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Participate in the review of new facilities designs toensure compliance with SA engineering standards regarding corrosionand materials selection.
• Review mothballingand preservation procedures for facilities to ensure compliancewith SAEP43 provisions.
• Develop corrosioncontrol documents in accordance with SAEP88.
• Conduct annual reviews of deadlegs within EWPD as per00SAIP01.
• Work on enhancing EWPD CorrosionControl Compliance Index score by identifying Areas forImprovements (AFIs) and developing plans to addressthem.
• Plan and oversee annual onstreamscraping activities.
• Track the progress ofonstream scraping and assist operations in evaluating the impact ofdeferred scraping runs.
• Review onstreamscraping reports submitted by operations postscraping.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of onstream scraping for eachpipeline.
• Coordinate sampling activities aspart of the onstream scraping process.
• Evaluate sampling results and providerecommendations.
• Communicate with upstreamfacilities regarding any outofspec streams.
• Review internal corrosion issues evaluate chemicaltreatment alternatives select appropriate chemical products andspecify dosages for each pipeline.

Requirements:

• Willingness to relocate toDhahran Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelorsdegree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized andapproved program.
• Certified API571 or NACECP4.
• Certified NACE CorrosionSpecialist.
• Minimum of 8 years of experiencein the oil and gas industry.
• At least one yearof experience in corrosionrelated fields.
