Your Job

You have the profile of a commercially skilled buyer, able to define strategies based on our company policy and the economic context, able to set up contracts and being actively and continuously involved in the supply chain management. You will have to manage projects and production purchases linked to various departments, from RFQ up to delivery of the goods/services and vendors payments.

The position is based out of Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Our Team

You will work in a Projects environment where you will be the face of the supply chain and you will be tasked to coordinate and fulfil our customer demands and expectations from a supply chain perspective.

What You Will Do

Define and make the link between the internal need and the potential products, markets and suppliersCheck the internal need requested and define the strategy to be appliedManage the purchase order placement process, negotiate, identify and manage the risks, and follow up the contract execution till the reception of the purchase orderEnsure that the suppliers achieve the goals and expectations regarding quality, delivery and costEventually handle the claims raised and settle disputes with suppliersPopulate suppliers and subcontractor's database according to the company needs and process qualification of the suppliersLiaise with engineering, project execution, sourcing specialists, Key Commodity Managers and other stakeholders to assess the best value for price solutions Coordinate project procurement activities for assigned projects (budgets, planning, follow-up meetings)Make price agreements, new agreement contracts with manpower, service, construction etc.. and reviewed with legal keeping organized records Travel at supplier's place as required

Fluent in English,any additional languages will be valued

What Will Put You Ahead

Previous purchasing experience within a heavy industry, manufacturing or engineering environment is a plus

You are a quick learner

Intercultural skills and international exposure

You have an ability to work for time-challenging projects

Demonstrate very good practical knowledge of Pack Office. Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
