Weare hiring Clinical Nurse Manager 2 - St Lukes Wardintoa Private Hospital at Dublin,Ireland.

KeyResponsibilities

• Managethe overall daily functions of the ward taking responsibility forthe safe delivery and co-ordination of nursing services forpatients, ensuring effective, efficient and quality specialistnursingcare.
• Plan,develop and monitor human and budget resource plans to ensure aneffective and efficientservice.
• Planspecialist orthopaedic and neurosurgical nursing service,innovations anddevelopments.
• Ensurethat nursing care is based on the latest research findings andconstitute best practice.
• Developclose links with other healthcare facilities relevant to thedelivery and enhancement of services.
• Monitorcomplaints and investigate any nursing and clinical complaints,taking corrective and preventative action as appropriate and reviewaudit to ensure there are nore-occurrences.
• Ensurethat all records are properly and accuratelymaintained.
• Facilitateeffective communication with patients, relatives, visitors andmulti-disciplinary team as necessary ensuring patientconfidentiality is respected and maintained at alltimes.
• Communicateand develop effective relationships with Consultant colleagues,Clinical Nurse Managers and other relevant hospital staff to ensuresafe, efficient management of theward.
• Identifyopportunities for the development of services that will improve thecare ofpatients.
• Ensurethat systems for the provision of clinical and non-clinicalservices are satisfactory and that they are timely and economicallyutilised.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Beregistered in the general division of the Register of Nursesmaintained byNMBI
• Haveat least 5 years post registration experience (or an aggregate of 5years fulltime post registration experience) of which 1 years mustbe in the area of Orthopaedics orNeurosurgery
• Candidatesmust demonstrate evidence of continuous professionaldevelopment.
• QQIlevel 8 or equivalent management course or willingness to undertakewithin 12months4
• PostGraduate Qualification/Masters
• Experiencein a JCI approved hospital
