    General Description of Role andResponsibilities:

    • Coordination with the Clients respective departments andsubsidiaries to understand specific business requirements for spaceutilization and future space needs.
    • Responsible for assisting the management in implementingan HSE Management System and enhancing employee safety culture.
    • Assist management in developing procedurescomplementing the HSE Management System.
    • Review and approve Permit to Work applications MethodStatement and Risk Assessments given ensuring Safe Operations.
    • Conduct HSE Audits and Inspections offacilities.
    • Supervise Safety contractor toensure performance and operational readiness of HSE CriticalSystems and Equipment. Conduct Safety Induction and other trainingfor employees and contractors. Investigate and ReportIncidents.
    • Develop HSE processes andprocedures and supervise the implementation.
    • Monitor and control Contractors for compliance withcontractual and Client HSE requirements.
    • Preparation of various HSE reports and ad hoc reportingas per the Clients requirement.
    • Review thecurrent HSE process and identify the areas ofimprovement.
    • Investigate and Report IncidentsAccidents and Nearmisses to Management.
    • Conduct and review Job Hazard Analysis and RiskAssessments of HighRisk work activities like lifting confined spaceworks excavation hot positions etc.
    • Informsthemselves of the relevant Quality Environmental Safety andOccupational Health Policies Manuals and Procedures within HillInternational and ensures continued compliance with theserequirements while employed by Hill.
    • Performother duties as assigned by the linemanager/supervisor.

    QualificationsExperience Knowledge and Skills:

    • The proposed candidate shall have 12 years of experiencein the health and safety field.
    • GoodTechnical/Engineering Knowledge.
    • English andMS Office Proficiency Experience.
    • Excellentunderstanding of local HSE regulations and procedures per Abu Dhabilaws.
    • Minimum 3 years of relevant workexperience (As an Engineer) accompanied by an EHSrelated mastersdegree or
    • Minimum 4 years of relevant workexperience (As an Engineer) and an EHSrelated bachelors degree orNEBOSH Diploma
