Our Client :

Our client, a 100% owned subsidiary of a renowned sovereign wealth fund based in Jeddah is looking to hire Senior Contracts Manager in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Role:

As a Senior Contract Manager reports to the Director, Design & Project Delivery and is responsible to manage, negotiate, administer commercial contracts with third-party consultants, contractors, project managers and suppliers. This includes cost management and control of commercial contracts based on approved budgets.

• Lead and manage the tender process with the procurement team for appointing consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare tender documents with the procurement team.
• Organize and record post tender clarification and negotiation meetings.
• Prepare tender recommendation reports and presentation and assist the procurement team in the award documents.
• Champion the development of policies, operating procedures, and standard forms for commercial contracts operations.
• Champion the development of standard agreements forms in coordination with the procurement and legal teams.
• Cost management and cost control of various contracts including variation orders and claims.
• Review of invoices and payment claim from commercial and contractual point of view.
• Review cost consultants reports and prepares periodical cost reports.
• Manages the process of project budget preparation and approval including cash flow projections.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree from a recognized university and/or professional qualification in engineering, cost management or related discipline.
• Project / cost management certification is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years experience in a similar position with strong background in project management, cost management, contract administration and construction engineering.
• Ability to speak in English and Arabic.
