• ensuring the implementation of allthe approved policies and procedures, rules, regulations, protocolsand guidelines, clinical pathways that guide and support theprovision of clinical services.
• directing andcoordinating activities of nurses, assistants, specialists,therapists, and other medical staff in patientcare.
• contributing to the development ofpolicies and procedures as part of the continuous qualityimprovement of his/ her department.
• serving onDepartmental / Hospital Committees asrequested.
• be On-Call as per hospital policy,as needed and will assume the duties of Coordinator ofDepartment.
• attending the Code Blue (ifapplicable) and should be involved in all other emergency codes ofthe hospital.
