- Monitoringand managing critically ill cardiac patients, including performingregular assessments and evaluating changes incondition.
- Administeringmedications, IV therapy, and other treatments as prescribed by thephysician.
- Collaboratingwith a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, respiratorytherapists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop andimplement patient careplans.
- Respondingto emergencies, such as cardiac arrest and rapid response codes,and providing advanced life support asneeded.
- Assistingwith invasive procedures, such as intubation and central lineplacement.
- Maintainingaccurate patient records, including documenting treatments,medications, and other criticalinformation.
- Communicatingwith family members and keeping them informed of their loved onesprogress and providing emotionalsupport.
- Participatingin ongoing education and professional development to stay currentwith best practices and new developments in cardiaccare.
- NYRegistered Nurse License
- AHA BLSand ACLS
- Atleast 2 years of previous Cardiac ICUexperience
- IVcertification~preferred
