    Senior Business Assistant

    Basic Function

    Performs high level administrative, statistical, and analytical functions to support the organization s/he is assigned to.

    Scope

    The Senior Business Assistant performs complex analytical duties to support the organization s/he is assigned to. Responsibilities include preparation and consolidation of statistical data, and development of reports. The work performed relates to planning, budgeting, accountability, cost analysis, and reporting related matters.

    Principal Contacts

    Internal: With all levels of personnel within own organization, clinical and non-clinical. With other organizations within JHAH.

    Principal Duties

    Performs the following duties:

    • Coordinates statistical analysis in the assigned organization.
    • Compiles, computes, and interprets statistical data as required.
    • Gathers data for budgetary forecasting and prepares analysis and presentation.
    • Prepares reports as required.
    • Presents statistical analysis and information.
    • Preparestables, indices, graphs, and charts foruseinstatisticalpresentations.
    • Interprets data and suggests action plans.
    • Types all kinds of correspondence and reports.
    • Maintains records and files.
    • Responds to routine inquiriesand takes messages.
    • Mentors staff as directed.
    • Performs other clerical duties as required.
    • Performsduties specific to the organization /area assigned to as directed.

    Education

    • 2 years Diploma in related field is required.
    • Bachelor's Degree in related field is preferred.

    Experience

    Minimum 7 years statistical/clerical experience is required.

    Certifications/Other requirements as applicable

    • Good knowledge of the available data within the organization and how to access it.
    • Financial and analytical acumen.
    • Experience with multiple information systems and / or databases
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Good Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).
    • Enterprise Resource Planning system experience, specifically SAP is preferred.
    • Ability to work on own initiative, be a self-starter with no supervision.
    • Able to work in a diverse environment as part of a team.
    • Good command of English. Knowledge ofArabic is desirable
