    • KNOWLEDGEAND EXPERTISE OPERATING MANROLAND / KBA PRINTINGMACHINES.
    • Ensuresthat daily production targets which are 48000 sheets per shift areachieved in relation to the required companystandards.
    • Tostudy the program of the particularmachine.
    • Discussthe program with the previous shiftoperator

    i)For the happenings in the previousshift

    ii)Jobs for theshift

    iii)Studythe job carefully through the W.O.envelope.

    • Takescharge of theshift

    i)Arrange and allocate work responsibilities to the crews and leadsthem for betterproduction.

    ii)Check the materials available for each job (e.i. type of board,size of boardetc.)

    iii)Checkthe auxiliary items for printing (e.i. Ink, varnish, blanketetc.)

    iv)Explain the information on the work order required for printing tothesubordinates.

    v)Check if colour, text & size are approved before ensuingforprinting.

    • Runeach job after getting approval from the productionsupervisor.
    • Tomake sure that all the quality procedures concerning the productionarecompleted.
    • Tomake the Production Reports of eachshift.
    • Makesure that machine has been cleaned and ready for the next shift. Aswell as keeping the workstation clean and tidy every aftercompletion of eachwork.
    • Informsthe Supervisor, in writing, about machine maintenance, spare partsandconsumables.
    • Ensuringproper action to avoid wastage of material with the coordination ofimmediatesuperiors.
    • Ensuresthat tools and used plates were properly stored and arranged everyafter use or upon completion of each work.Performs workspecifications instructed by immediatesupervisors.


    Requirements

    • Diplomain printing technology or trade certificate for its equivalent (ifany)
    • Experiencein offsetprinting
    • Knowledgein printingtechnology
    • Atleast 3-10 years experience as machineoperator


    Diploma in printing technology or trade certificate for itsequivalent (if any) Experience in offset printing Knowledge inprinting technology At least 3-10 years experience as machineoperator
