    ROLE PURPOSE:

    The Procurement Analyst is responsible for analyzing, strategizing, and optimizing procurement processes to ensure cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and quality in the organization's purchasing activities. This role involves data analysis, supplier evaluation, market research, and supporting the procurement team in achieving their objectives.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:

    Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for process improvement.
    • Generate reports and present findings to management to support decision-making processes.

    Supplier Management:

    • Evaluate and assess supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
    • Identify and onboard new suppliers while ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

    Strategic Sourcing:

    • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, assess market trends, and benchmark prices.
    • Develop sourcing strategies to optimize costs without compromising quality or efficiency.

    Process Improvement:

    • Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline procurement processes.
    • Work cross-functionally with other departments to optimize procurement workflows.

    Risk Management:

    • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor market changes and geopolitical factors that could impact procurement operations

    REQUIREMENTS FOR ROLE:

    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Finance, or related field.
    • Proven experience of 3-4 years in procurement, supply chain, or relevant analytical roles.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, SAP) and familiarity with procurement software.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
    • Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and supply chain processes.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Certification in procurement (such as CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
