    Companyfrom the Oil & Gas industry is looking for candidates ofEngine RoomTechnicianfor an offshore projectlocatedon FPSO FIRENZE in Offshore Ivory Coast (currently drydockDubai).



    MISSION:


    Responsible for safe watch keeping, control and maintenance ofengine room mechanical equipment and propulsion equipment Maintainroutine documentation as required by Company Whenever required, actas MS (maintenance supervisor) or BOX (ballast control operator) asdefined in IMO resolutionA



    TASKS:


    Report to 2nd Engineer Be familiar with and maintain awareness ofthe relevant Company requirements and where applicable, the latestindustry codes and standards including statutory rules andregulations Ensure all workspace activities are carried out in aconsistent manner with Company policies and in accordance to VesselManagement Manual Ensure safe and efficient operations of engineroom machinery, during own duty watch Ensure that the AssetManagement Operative System (AMOS) is rigorously implemented, inorder to survey, test and maintain all ship machinery/equipment,comprising Emergency and Safety systems Carry out all analysis taskfor cooling water, sanitary water, diesel oil and oil for allequipment Participate in bunkering/offloading of fuel/oil and therefueling of vessels Advise 2nd Engineer for efficient and timelyordering of spares for the equipment under own charge Performduties within the vessel emergency team as indicated in EmergencyPreparedness Manual Intervene and report to 2nd Engineer any unsafeact, unsafe working conditions, near misses and incidents/accidentsEnsure the Chief Engineer/2nd Engineer is informed immediately ofany condition or incident that arises as per standing instructionEnsure that no major action will be undertaken or executed withoutinforming the Chief Engineer/2nd Engineer Report to the 2ndEngineer or Chief Engineer any hazardous situation that goes beyondown intervention Maintain the vessel in accordance with class andstatutory legislation Compliance with appropriate and applicablelegislative requirements Monitoring and prevent environmentalpollution accordingly to MARPOL Ensure safe and efficientoperations and record Engine logbook of engine machinery during ownduty watch Take over the watch as per Company procedures Take careof daily calculation ofR.O.B.

    AuthorityCarry out watch in engine room Maintain safe working practices

    QualificationsSTCW required certificates, National CoC Reg. III/1 and endorsementCompletion of all training and certifications as described inTraining Matrix MOU stability course (whereapplicable)

    Requirements

    ExperienceFor Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch minimum two (2) yearsexperience of offshore activities


    Note:
    For Italian Seafarers thecorrespondent designation is "Secondo Ufficiale diMacchina" for Seniority L2 and "Terzo Ufficialedi Macchina" for Seniority L1

    FPSOexperience is amust

    Minimum3 years of OFFSHOREexperience

    Internationalexperience in Angola, Africa, Brazil is aplus
