Aligned around a shared purpose, our $3.9B company and 16,000 people work alongside our clients, here and abroad, to tackle their most complex challenges with integrity, respect, responsibility, and professionalism.Support the establishment of an AFCENT forward commercial off the shelf (COTS) supply channel and liaise with military aerial port personnel while maintaining control of AFCENT AOR assets.
    Responsibilities

    Major Job Activities:

    • Distribute, transport, warehouse assets.
    • Prepare and provide freight forwarding and transportation documentation.
    • Coordinate with government organizations and provide a listing of working bench stock to ensure critical spare parts are available for non-stock listed COTS equipment.
    • Operate warehouse equipment and vehicles.

    • Update the working bench stock list quarterly and maintain in a continuity book.
    • Worth through government procurements channels using AF Form 9 and other methods to procure and maintain government approved spare equipment.
    • Coordinate with AFCENT/A6X to control project material and materials necessary to support base infrastructure maintenance actions.
    • Provide and ensure positive control of equipment and other materials as directed by AFCENT A6, or designated representative.
    • Manage, palletize and ship government-procured equipment for transport.

    Material & Equipment Directly Used:

    • Forklift: Must be able to operate a forklift up to 20K.
    • License: Must have valid Stateside Driver's License.
    • Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense and a Local (Area of Operations) Driver License which allows operation of Flat bed, cargo box, and tandem trucks.

    Working Environment:

    • Working environment is a climate-controlled facility. Outdoor temperatures may exceed temperatures of 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • May require support during periods of non-traditional working hours including nights or weekends.

    Physical Activities:

    • Must be able to lift / push / pull 50 lbs.
    • Working environment will be 30% office and 70% outside.
    • Work environment will also be extreme to very hot due to conditions within the region.
    • Individual may be required to climb ladders and will require periods of prolonged standing and sitting.
    Qualifications

    Education / Certifications:

    • U.S. Citizen
    • Active Secret Tier 3 Security Clearance
    • Associates Degree in any discipline from an accredited institution or DoD Integrated Logistics Support Training; OR

    Experience / Skills:

    • Intermediate-level practical experience, obtained within the last 10 years, in the following: logistics/supply management, cargo; military and commercial transportation requirements, methods, services, procedures, and documentation; logistics of medium-scale deployments to forward areas; USAF logistics/supply protocols, procedures and forms; DoD and AF forms (Form 9 (Request for Purchase), AF Form 601(Equipment Action Request), AF Form 2005 (Issue/Turn-in Request), DD Forms 1575 and 2332 (Product Quality Deficiency Tags), DD Form 1149 (Shipping Document)); AND
    • 3-5 years of OCONUS experience with USAF-specific procedures and documentation.
