    Copywriters play anessential role in the conception and translation of beautiful ideasproducts and service. They bring exceptional creative thought andcraft output developing and delivering projects from brief to enduser. A Copywriter at AKQA approaches every brief with fresh eyes.Avoiding familiar solutions the Copywriter will create and inspirework that is distinctive effective and truly remarkable craftingexceptional copy and storytelling through traditional Arabic textand regional dialects.

    As a Copywriter based inSaudi Arabia you will have the opportunity to partner withambitious local regional and global teams as well as clients in oneof the worlds most innovative regions. Your role will beparticularly essential in crafting work together withArabicspeaking colleagues that resonates both within the Kingdom aswell as with global audiences.

    ROLEREQUIREMENTS

    • Deliver and inspireawardwinning work from both yourself and others who work with youinfluencing where appropriate a dramatic change through ideascreativity and the use of interactivemedia.
    • Create and write for a variety ofcreative products including web video content andsocial.
    • Consistently deliver a number ofsuccessful solutions and high quality work to clients ontime.
    • Collaborate closely with art directorsdesigners and/or creative directors as well as ux and contentstrategy to get to the heart of the big idea as part of amultidisciplinary team.
    • Work with the widerAKQA such as developers project managers strategy and clientservices to launch innovative digital mobile website printbroadcast video and traditional branded productexperiences.
    • High level internal and externalclient satisfaction.
    • High level of teamsatisfaction.
    • High level of accuracy andattention to detail.
    • Learn new skills and stayabreast of technical and digital design developments andsuccessfully apply these to work practices to help improveprocesses and procedures.
    • Participate in anumber of pitches and client presentations. Present your work tointernal stakeholders and justify your decisions confidently toclients.

    QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

    • Strongconceptual thinker who crafts compelling beautifully constructedcopy for a variety of clients.
    • Previouscopywriting experience preferably with a content or social mediafocus in an ad agency or client marketinggroup.
    • 3 years of experience writing creativecopy and conceptualizing ideas.
    • A portfolio ofcaptivating copy smart headlines and innovative compelling contentfor a range of brands products andservices.
    • Experience creating and writing fordigital video mobile content and socialactivations.
    • A curious personality with anatural ability to uncover insights in the world that drive sharpcompelling concepts.
    • Work comfortably across awide range of copy tasks.
    • Has an active voicein brainstorming sessions and shows a willingness to presentwork.
    • Conducts thoughtful regional research andcan effectively communicate the rationale behind copy ideas andexecution.
    • Asks questions to clarify prioritiesand navigate ambiguity.
    • Is open to and able tobuild upon ideas from other team members andclients.
    • Fluent in English both spoken andwritten. Fluency in Arabic a big plus.
    • Previousexperience in Saudi Arabia and/or the MENA region a big plus.Acompelling portfolio of work that demonstrates high quality Englishcopywriting.
    • Proven creative success working incollaborative multifunctionalteams.
