    JASARA PMC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Director to join our team. As a leading program management company, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional infrastructure programs in Saudi Arabia. The Contract Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful contract execution and management of our projects.

    In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract negotiations, drafting, and execution. You will work closely with project teams, legal, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure that contracts are in compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Your strong negotiation skills and attention to detail will be crucial in identifying and mitigating contractual risks to prevent disputes or delays.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and oversee all aspects of contract negotiations, drafting, and execution
    • Ensure compliance of contracts with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards
    • Collaborate with project teams, legal, finance, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate contractual risks
    • Prevent contract disputes and delays through proactive contract management
    • Develop and implement contract management processes and procedures to improve efficiency and mitigate risk
    • Manage contract databases and systems, including tracking contract terms, renewal dates, and deliverables
    • Provide guidance and training to project teams on contract management processes and best practices
    • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations, laws, and industry standards related to contract management
    • Assist with the development of contract templates and negotiation strategies
    • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure contract compliance and vendor management

    Requirements

    • Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Law or similar professional disciplines
    • 25+ years of relevant post-graduate experience
    • Experience in international contracting mechanisms such as FIDIC. Comprehensive knowledge of contracts, contract administration processes, claims, procurement aspects, project control principles and practices
    • Proven track record in contract negotiation and management
    • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to oversee and guide contract teams
    • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential risks
    • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to contract management
    • Experience with contract management software and databases
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders
